Volunteering for Project Lead the Way

Summit Engineering Vice President Ashlie Childers (front with Red Jacket) and Business Development Director Mike Mullins (2nd from right Dark Blue Jacket) attended Mingo Logan High School in Mingo, West Virginia to help judge students who are participating in Project Lead the Way (PLTW).

PLTW is an organization focused on empowering students and transforming the teaching experience – a proud tradition from the start of the organization that continues today. Since 1997, PLTW has grown from a high school engineering program to offering comprehensive K-12 pathways in computer science, engineering, and biomedical science.

Summit is proud to be able to assist Mingo Logan High School in furthering Project Lead the Way for the kids of Southwest West Virginia.
