Summit Hires Lisa Daniels

Lisa joins Summit Engineering’s Business Development department to continue Summit’s recent success providing civil engineering, surveying, laboratory, environmental, mining engineering, architecture, and GIS services to many of the top companies in Appalachian area. Lisa comments “I am excited about being in my hometown and look forward to working with the team to further develop and promote their already extensive services. Lisa is originally from Pike Co.  She is a graduate of Elkhorn City High School, has a Bachelor’s degree from Pikeville College, and a Master’s Degree from Morehead State. She enjoys volunteering at different charity organizations and participating in charitable events. Her main priority in life is God and her family.  Lisa and her son, Joseph reside in Pikeville.  In addition to Joseph, she has a daughter, Lashawna Owens, three sons, Jordan Owens, Jesse Daniels, and Jimmy Daniels, and a grandson, Jayden all of Louisville, KY. She is the daughter of Burbon (Bud) and Gwen Kendrick, of Elkhorn City; granddaughter of Carrie Thacker Kendrick and the late Sammie Kendrick; the late Ned Bailiff and Helena Bailiff of Elkhorn City.  In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors or in the gym.
