The project included design and construction of a parking garage, with both pre-cast and cast in place concrete components.
The structure has an adjacent pedestrian walkways which serve the Pikeville College as well as events at the 7,000 seat Eastern Kentucky Expo Center. The structure includes 6,500 square feet of office space for a transportation provider and the infrastructure for an additional 7,800 square feet of retail/commercial space. The garage is located on a 1.45-acre site and is four stories tall with parking for approximately 680 vehicles. The project cost was $9,000,000.
Summit also conducted the Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments for the lot in the downtown area on which the completed parking garage is situated.
