Kentucky Avenue
Client: Pikeville Housing Authority—Pikeville, Kentucky
This project resulted from the City of Pikeville's Kentucky Avenue neighborhood revitalization project.
Over 100 substandard structures were scheduled for demolition to make room for construction of multi-unit low to moderate income housing. Summit provided all engineering, surveying, and architectural services for the project. The project involved the acquisitions, demolitions and relocation of existing residents, the replacement and relocation of all utility infrastructures, roadway widening, sidewalks and streetscape components. Provided the setting and opportunity for the construction of 60 new townhouse units.
