Salyersville & Magoffin County Sewer Project
Client: City of Salyersville & Magoffin County Fiscal Court—Magoffin County, Kentucky
This is a regional project involving the County and the county seat of Salyersville. The City owns and operates the only wastewater treatment plant in the county. This joint project involved the amendment to the existing 20-Year Regional Facilities Plan and then design and construction of a new 600,000 gpd wastewater treatment plant and new collection lines that serve 432 new customers and provides improved service to the 625+ existing city customers.
The new system lifted the tap-on and line extension bans and allowed for future economic development and growth for the entire area.
