Mitigation Construction Management and Monitoring

Client: Czar Coal Corporation, Beech Fork Processing, Inc.—Martin Co., Kentucky

The project includes mitigation construction management and monitoring of 20,475 feet of perennial, intermittent and ephemeral stream. The mitigation plans being implemented by Czar Coal Corporation and Beech Fork Processing, Inc. have been approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

Project Scope: Project services include on-site construction management and monitoring, direction to equipment operators, surveying channels, stream assessment, habitat assessment, post-construction monitoring and reference reach data collection. Additionally, construction and monitoring reports have been developed to comply with USACE guidelines and requirements.

Project Size: Projects range in size from 590 ft to 6,256 ft and are located in Martin and Johnson Counties.
