Costain Coal Lodestar Energy Coal Fly Ash Course Refuse Landfill
Client: Costain Coal/Lodestar Energy—Kentucky
Tasks completed by Summit's environmental and mining teams included the preparation of environmental permits, MSHA impoundment plants, construction management and field surveying.
Designs, environmental permits and MSHA approvals were obtained for the construction of a fly ash disposal fill in conjunction with a course refuse impoundment. After approval the necessary construction management was provided for installation of the facilities.
