Feds Creek Surface Mine
Client: Apex Energy, Inc.—Pike County, Kentucky
Summit completed all permitting required by Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water, Division of Air and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers required for this large surface mine operation.
The Mine Plan utilized a 5320 shovel and a 992 spread of equipment to area mine and contour mine the ridgelines above Fishtrap Lake in the Feds Creek watershed.
