Tasks completed by Summit's mining engineers included reclamation permits, inspection services, and compaction testing services.
Summit provides environmental permits for the construction of coarse refuse impoundments. Our services include design, specifications, permit preparation, construction inspection, monitoring, and testing.
We have also provided design and environmental permit services to convert a coarse refuse impoundment into a clean water lake. This included approvals by MSHA, Division of Water, Corps of Engineers, Department of Fish & Wildlife, Department of Surface Mining and the U.S. Office of Surface Mining.
